Типичный день CELTA Course Online включает в себя следующие этапы:
- Input:
На данном этапе тренеры проводят занятия по повышению как языковой, так и профессиональной компетенции. Эти сессии разнообразные по форме, но практически все они носят интерактивный характер. Многие занятия имеют структуру семинара с инструктором.
- Помощь в планировании проведения занятий:
Тренеры окажут вам помощь в планировании урока, ответят на все вопросы, подскажут наиболее эффективные методы и приёмы. В процессе обучения и обретения опыта вы становитесь более независимыми от тренера в планировании урока.
- Педагогическая практика:
Это самая важная часть курса, где вы можете применить полученные знания и навыки на практике. Вам будет предоставлена возможность преподавать на разных уровнях, проводить различные типы уроков. Помимо преподавания, у вас будет возможность присутствовать на уроках ваших коллег, принимать участие в обсуждении, оценивать работу коллег.
- Обратная связь:
После каждого занятия вы будете анализировать занятие. Обязательно проводится самооценка урока, которая затем анализируется и обсуждается с тренером – было ли занятие успешно, а также выяснить, что не получилось, и как все можно было сделать по-другому.

COVID-19 has forced the world to move online. Currently, a lot of centers have had to either stop or move their CELTA courses into the online format. When the lockdown was announced, we found ourselves in a similar situation — we had to put our course on hold and are now waiting for the lockdown to end so that we can do the teaching practice face-to-face.
LLP “Professional Development Centre” offers you two products: Intensive course CELTA Online and Blended course CELTA Online.
Intensive Course CELTA Online (online standard course):
• 100% online lessons using the Zoom platform;
• Duration: 4-5 weeks;
• Training sessions on using the Zoom platform are offered to all candidates;
• All documentation and materials in accordance to the requirements of the course will be stored in Gmail Google Drive;
• Provides a training session on creating a Google drive.
The CELTA course includes:
online training sessions;
training support and advice;
controlled lesson planning;
six hours of assessed teaching practice per candidate under the guidance of a course teacher;
teaching reviews;
peer review of teaching practice;
observation of lessons;
hours of training for preparing for the course, reading, researching, writing assignments, preparing a lesson, and keeping records.
A typical CELTA Course Online day includes the following steps:
1) Input:
At this stage, trainers conduct classes to enhance both language and professional competence. These sessions are diverse in form, but almost all of them are interactive. Many classes have a “seminar” type structure with an instructor.
2) Assistance in planning classes The trainers will assist you in planning the lesson, answer all your questions, and suggest the most effective methods and techniques. In the process of learning and gaining experience, you become more independent of the trainer in planning the lesson.
3) Pedagogical practice
This is the most important part of the course, where you can put the acquired knowledge and skills into practice, you will be given the opportunity to teach at different levels, conduct various types of lessons. In addition to teaching, you will have the opportunity to attend the lessons of your colleagues, take part in the discussion, evaluate the work of colleagues
4) Feedback
After each lesson, you will analyze the lesson. A self-assessment of the lesson is mandatory, which is then analyzed and discussed with the trainer was successful, as well as to find out what did not work out and how everything could be done differently.

Blended CELTA Online Course:
• 100% online lessons on Cambridge platforms;
• Duration: 10-16 weeks;
• Teaching practice: 2 weeks;(f2f or online depending upon regulations of the quarantine)
• Classes with a CELTA trainer on an individual schedule at least 2 times a week;
• Ability to combine the course with the main activity.
Teaching practice includes:
Feedback, planning and organization of classes;
Pedagogical practice (2 blocks of 45 minutes each);
Training practice (2 blocks of 45 minutes each);
Break;
Feedback and planning the next lesson.
All teaching practice sessions will be observed and assessed by the CELTA tutors. You will also be able to observe the teaching practice of your fellow CELTA trainees as well as observing experienced teachers.

What are the benefits of taking the CELTA Online?
At the end of the course, you will have the same CELTA certificate as a trainee who has taken the CELTA in a classroom. The added benefits of taking the course this way is that:
a) The course is more accessible, which means you will save on travel and accommodation-and no visa headaches.
b) You will also have access to the learning materials online;
c) Also, you will learn how to teach the English language in a classroom while becoming familiar with the tools and environment to teach online.
FAQ
Will I know how to teach face-to-face after I complete the CELTA online?
Yes, you will. The reason is that CELTA is aimed at equipping you with the techniques and skills needed for teaching in general. Eliciting, concept checking, doing error correction are relevant to both teaching online and teaching face-to-face. While some aspects may differ (e.g. for error correction in an online environment, you will use a virtual board, or a chat and in face-to-face teaching you will use the real whiteboard), you will understand how error correction works and will be able to do it in any environment.
Where can I work after completing my online CELTA course?
The majority of schools prefer candidates with CELTA certificates, so you will find that this opens more doors to your ELT career!

What do I need to take CELTA 100% online?
You will need the following:
